This title was won January 29th, 2006 at Royal Rumble. In this match, he won against Edge for the WWE Championship title. Just 3 weeks before Cena's match with Edge, Edge shocked the world by cashing in the first Money in the Bank on exausted John Cena. Actually, when Edge cashed it in, it was for the title Cena won in 2005 during Wrestlemania 21. Cena's entrance was really cool, flying in the air by a machanical space structure lowering him into the ring. The ending of the match resulted with a Tap-Out by Edge when Cena was performing the infamous move, "STFU." This image below shows Cena fighting Edge in July.
